Rachel Moody

I spent my youth in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. On Memorial Day weekend in 1997 I pitched my tent in the Moab desert to escape the city and find peace.  I didn't realize at the time, that this little town was going to keep me here, year after year.  Moab, beautiful Moab... the birth place of my daughter, the little city I have chosen to call home. I love that I can walk out my front door and be paddling on the Colorado River 20 minutes later. The endless beauty of this area mesmerizes me on a daily basis and I don't take it for granted. I am so proud of this community I have been so lucky to become a part of and raise my daughter in.

I started my career in 2003 as a Property Manager for commercial mixed-use properties in the Center and Main corridor.  I have negotiated hundreds of leases, assisted dozens of small business owners, as well as improved historic structures and apartments to provide on-going local housing.

I stepped into real estate sales in 2004, opened my own brokerage in 2008, then retired as a Principal Broker to focus on my real estate sales team in 2020. I am a strong negotiator and excellent advisor - I have completed sales transactions ranging from small lots, raw land, single family homes, nightly rentals, multifamily units, and commercial buildings. I love the balance of protecting and guiding first time home buyers & sellers, as well as negotiating for strong investors & developers. I am Moab's top producer with over 20 years of experience, and I couldn't be more honored to sell Moab Real Estate. What a pleasure to serve this area and those who love it!  

Over the years I have served as the President of our local Association of Realtors, Chairman for the Housing Opportunity Fund, Director for the Utah Association, member of the Moab Area Housing Task Force, USU Dean's Council, & many, many other committees. I am graduate of Leadership UAR, a Certified Residential Specialist, Accredited Buyers Representative, & Seller Representative Specialist. But most importantly, I am an all around authentic, trustworthy person ready to help you with your big life decision in Moab, Utah. I love working with people and I love making dreams come true.
